Money Can't Buy You Happiness

There is no doubt that more money would solve some of Canada's healthcare problems; however, Canada is already spending more per capita than most other OECD nations, yet we are not achieving the results they are.  Spending on healthcare in Canada has grown faster than our economy for some time; despite this increase in spending, Canadians believe that our healthcare system is getting worse.

Currently, individual Canadians are already taxed at a high rate, and with increased pressure to spend more on healthcare, that rate will go higher.  However, most Canadians want to avoid paying more taxes, and we can only continue to spend more on healthcare if we get more bang for every healthcare buck we spend.

The bottom line is we have to spend our money better, and we better do it soon!
